Many metres of the road is broken, 7th May
The edge of the road has been broken for many months and is rapidly deteriorating - this is caused by large trucks, lorries and tractors that pass each other having to drive off the edge of the road, thus breaking the tarmac. It is worse when it rains as the holes fill with water making it impossible to see the edge of the road. Some bollards are in place to try to protect the road edge and grass verge but often they are hit by the vehicles as they go past.

Sheets of ice across the road for 30-50 yards., 18th January
This seems to be a flood or spring. It's unlikely to be rain run off as it hasn't rained recently but there is still a substantial ( and increasing) flow of water across the road which, in this cold weather has turned into a dangerous ice rink. Dangerous for pedestrians and vehicles.

Failure to create and maintain adequate watercourse capacity., 17th January
Failure to create and maintain adequate watercourse capacity and inadequate flow through culvert. Essential Telecom infrastructure put at risk. Somerset needs to ensure that ‘ordinary watercourses’ are fit for purpose with adequate capacity for predicted rainfall and that they have followed the clear official guidance provided by the lead Lead Local Flood Authority for their location and catchment. Watercourses should be integrated with those upstream and downstream in a manner that minimises the risk of flood damage to others in the community and where possible slows or delays the flow of water off land. This drain has not been cleared for a considerable length of time. Consequently when it rains heavily there is a significant build up of surface water. When lorries and vehicles pass this is thrown up all over the walls and windows of the house. Long term damage is being caused with possible insurance claim against the council. Image supplied shows drain (with water not draining) approximately 1 hr after rain had stopped.
