2 Blocked gullies outside no.s 2 and 3 Chelford Lane ( The Hollies and Merriden Cottage), 13th May
Two blocked create serious pooling after ang heavy rain - last night the whole road for 100 yards was under several inches of water. As it’s on a blind bend with a 50mph speed limit, this is extremely hazardous, as cars are swerving onto the wrong side of the road to avoid it, the water is deep enough to flip a small car, and the spray can blind other drivers.

9 blocked drains and full gully’s from bridge up to Sandlebridge farm.. both sides, 12th May
All the drains are blocked fully or partially (where I’ve had to/been able to manually unblock the drain with a 6ft iron bar) from Sandlebridge up to Sandlebridge farm (mill lane).
CEC have marked for clearing but fail to do anything more than put paint on the kerb.
More flooding and damage to the wall of Smithy Hose and also pavement on corner of Sandlebridge lane.

Bridge over pedley brook on mill lane and corner of and Sandlebridge rise, 12th May
The two drains on the bridge and 7up the hill from the bridge are off black and full of detritus which in most cases is impacted so impossible to clear manually… so all the water is coming down the hill and the. Sits here for hours or days.
The wall of the property next to the road is cracking and moving due to the impact of the flood water from every heavy burst of rain.
The pavement t opposite (corner of Sandlebridge rise is subsiding and has a big hole/void where water is forcing its way through.
CEC need to just do their job here and sort this out… but I’m not holding my breath.

Under the pavement at the end of Gypsy lane is a collapsed/blocked drain this is backing up into our garden. The pavement will need to be excavated to get to the issue We have attempted to rod.

Kell Green Lane, between Kell Green Farm and junction with Sandlebridge/Mill Lane on left., 5th May
Very deep (approx 6 ft) hole next to road, tarmac beginning to be undermined due to collapse of embankment. Very dangerous could easily kill someone if they hit it. Requires urgent attention before it deteriorates further. Reported over 7 days ago but no apparent action taken to protect traffic.

Pothole that is difficult to see when travelling from Knutsford towards Chelford at the cross roads. Vehicles swerving around at last moment causing increased risk to cyclists on popular route.

The T-junction opposite Sandlebridge Lane, 3rd May
The road has disappeared on the inside of the road in the direction of Marthall. To drive along this road it is necessary to drive around the faulty area but that means driving over the centre of the road, so when there is oncoming traffic it creates a dangerous situation. It shouldn’t need an accident to happen before this piece of road is fixed. Please could you address this problem.

Between Chelford Train Station Bridge and Chelford Roundabout A537, 22nd April
All of the drains between the Chelford Train Station Bridge and Chelford Roundabout are blocked causing continuous dangerous flooding on the A537 specifically standing water opposite the Village Hall. This is a continuous ongoing problem. The drains were last cleaned back in 2020.
