This road has been deteriorating for months and is full of a series of deep potholes and rutted areas on the road surface

Big potholes all the way down Beat Lane from the junction of Dingle Lane and also very dangerous rutting on the last left hand bend when you are driving up the road from the A523., 12th April

Both gullies blocked as you enter Tanhouse Lane. Gullies blocked for at least two years. Every time it rains, the water is about nine inches deep all the way across the entrance to Tanhouse Lane. 9.2.16

The constant rain, vehicles and pedestrians have resulted in parts of the Staffordshire Way becoming extremely muddy - especially near to the gate. If funds allow could bark or other material be laid across the mud? It has become really slippery.

Flooding Jan 2016 due to blocked gullies at junction, 22nd January
Longstanding problem of flooding at this junction. Gullies on both sides of junction are blocked and road is virtually impassable when it rains. I have reported the flooding at this junction before but the gullies are still blocked. Please can we have the gullies inspected and cleaned out.

The high winds have brought a tree down across the Staffordshire Way between Station Lane and Churnet Valley bridge number 70. There is another tree which has been uprooted and is leaning across the path.
