Unknown correct route, 13th May
The is an ORPA but when approaching the river (from the East) it is unknown which is the correct right of way. The interactive council map states to go straight across the river. Which can be right as there is no exit on the West. There is an exit to the West just infront of the footbridge. Does this mean the legal route is up the river? To the East of the river to the Footbridge appears to be a rutted path used by traffic, but is this the correct ROW for vehicular traffic? I am the Cheshire GLASS rep and trying to identify the correct ROW.,

Entire length of A54 between Hollin Lane junction and Minn End Lane junction., 29th April
First reported months ago, there are dozens of potholes between these 2 junctions, across the entire width of the carriageway and completely unavoidable. Varying depths and widths, with some patches several metres long and others on inside of blind corners.

Whole stretch of A54 between Bosley & Cat & Fiddle, 23rd April
Extensive numbers of horrendous potholes, in large groups all the way along the A54 near Wincle, unavoidable if there’s any oncoming traffic, seriously damaging to vehicles. This stretch of road is EXTREMELY dangerous! My grandma saw better roads in bombed out London during the Blitz!

Awful drop due to poor road upkeep, 20th April
The road which meets the end off wincle brewery drive is awfully disintegrated and pulling out it is going to ruined suspension and springs on cars!!!!!! Its the whole way across and a pit hole next to the red telephone box!

Drain on bridge blocked so that every time it rains the road is flooded. Should be a very quick fix as the drain to outlet is very short

Pot hole at the side of the road on the left hand side heading toward Wincle school coming from Danebridge it needs fixing as if tractors or something coming the other way it will damage your car

A pot hole has reoccurred here again on the left hand side heading to Wincle from Macclesfield it is unavoidable if a car is coming in the other direct it is the second one on this strip there is one about shortly before it!

As the road crosses the stream bridge, 30th March
Effectively there is no road surface. Multiple very poor attempts at repair by throwing lumps of tarmac which have immediately disintegrated have left it effectively without a road surface. Hitting this mess on a bike or motorcycle could be lethal as the stony remains would cause wheels to slide. Highly, highly dangerous.

Over a space of about a mile, 30th March
Huge slabs of surface missing, and for this amount of damage a great amount of time has elapsed, so it cannot be said that Cheshire knows nothing of them. Highly dangerous, not to mention flying stones and gravel from them. A motor bike or cycle hitting one of these at speed…..
