FIXMYSTREET IN SK11 0BL
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of SK11 0BL:
Unknown correct route, 13th May
The is an ORPA but when approaching the river (from the East) it is unknown which is the correct right of way. The interactive council map states to go straight across the river. Which can be right as there is no exit on the West. There is an exit to the West just infront of the footbridge. Does this mean the legal route is up the river? To the East of the river to the Footbridge appears to be a rutted path used by traffic, but is this the correct ROW for vehicular traffic? I am the Cheshire GLASS rep and trying to identify the correct ROW.,

Drain on the bridge blocked, 20th April
Drain on bridge blocked so that every time it rains the road is flooded. Should be a very quick fix as the drain to outlet is very short

As the road crosses the stream bridge, 30th March
Effectively there is no road surface. Multiple very poor attempts at repair by throwing lumps of tarmac which have immediately disintegrated have left it effectively without a road surface. Hitting this mess on a bike or motorcycle could be lethal as the stony remains would cause wheels to slide. Highly, highly dangerous.

A54 roughly half a mile from Blaze Farm heading towards Congleton, 5th February
There is a massive pothole on the carriageway heading from Buxton to Congleton in this location, see pictures. It is unavoidable if there are vehicles coming the other way. It caused us two damaged tyres beyond repair and a long wait for the RAC to come out to us with two young children in the car last Sunday 28th January. Please fix this as soon as possible. I can see there have been a number of reports about it.

Very large and deep potholes missed by Council when marking the others today for repairs, 5th February
Hi there, we just drove down our lane and see that the Council has been up and marked some of the potholes for repair, however they have completely missed the big and deep potholes on the flatter part of the lane at the top between the farm gate on the left and the cattle grid. These were all repaired last year by the Council. We have gone through a nother set of tyres again due to these potholes, so would appreciate your help here. Thank you!

Half a mile before Blaze Farm on the A54 travelling from Buxton, 4th February
This pothole is huge, dangerous, and unavoidable if a car is coming in the opposite direction. The pothole is a meter long and 30cm deep. It is always full of water and impossible to tell how deep it really is. Dozens of people have had tyre blowouts. It would be fatal if a cyclist hit it and fell into the path of oncoming traffic. Dozens of people have reported this already. Why of earth haven't you mended it properly yet? Disastrous behaviour.

Far left side of westbound lane A54, just past Berry Bank Farm, 2nd February
Large pot hole that is possibly always filled with water and not easy to spot. Hard to avoid as it just before a blind hump and oncoming traffic would make it impossible. Large stone sticking through hole that crates a perfect tire pinch point.

A54, 1st February
I have to use these roads every day to get to work. The road condition is absolutely dire and caused damages to my car. Absolutely nothing has been done to repair these roads at all and the pot holes have become unavoidable. I would like the council to be accountable for what has happened and pay the expenses caused.

Between berrybank and blaze farm on a54, 29th January
There is a very large pothole on the Congleton bound side of the road. As it was full of water it was hidden. It would have been impossible to miss anyway as oncoming traffic prevented avoidance. I hit it at about 40mph and severely damaged my wheel. The tracking was also put out.

Heading towards blaze farm from Buxton, deep pothole just on the corner before the straight, doesn't look like it's marked but the carriageway has deteriorated on the edge of the road and pothole has formed., 27th January
Difficult to see until last minute due to camber of the road and position close to top of the incline. Need to go on other side of carriageway to avoid and oncoming traffic often going fast and comes out of nowhere so hard to avoid. Appreciate that money is tight in the council but marking would help to warn drivers whilst it's being raised - looks like it meets safety defect criteria
