Parking too close and dangerously to a junction, 28th March
Parked very close to a junction of Vineyards Close. Large pick up truck parked on Old London Road too close to Vineyards Close turning that is obscuring view of on coming traffic. Have reported twice on two separate days to company that owns it Westbourne Motors and they have taken no action. Explained that it nearly caused me to have an accident as I couldn’t see oncoming cars yet they have not moved it. Very dangerous and likely to cause an accident for anyone pulling out of Vineyards Close. I have both called twice and emailed Westbourne to try to resolve. It has parked there now on two separate occasions. It’s still currently there having first noticed it stopped there again yesterday afternoon and looks like they intend to now leave there all over Easter break as it’s still there at 9pm 28th despite me emailing and calling them at 8am today.

Approx 6 inch pothole, 9th February
Very deep pothole that is difficult to avoid due to the busy nature of this road and the amount of HGV's that travel on it, you have to swerve to avoid the potholes on this stretch of road and obviously there are safety concerns.

Large craters reappeared around a man hole, 9th February
One again the tarmac around this manhole has broken up and large craters have appeared, this has to my knowledge been fixed 3 times in as many months, very dangerous as children cross here to the adjacent bus stop each day to catch their school bus.

Lack of secure fencing around Rock Common quarry especially next to footpath number 2701, 9th January
Lack of maintenance to security fence around Rock Common quarry which is adjacent to public footpath number 2701 and popular Washington Campsite, this is allowing children to access the quarry and use it as a playground. Contrary to section 151 (2)(c) of the mines and quarries act 1954 (MQA) any quarry (whether in the course if being worked or not) which does not have an efficient and properly maintained barrier, designed and constructed to prevent people from accidentally falling into the quarry, and by reason of its accessibility from a road or public place constitutes a danger to members of the public, is deemed to be a statutory nuisance under the Environmental Protection Act. This contravenes regulation 16 of the quarries regulations 1999 (relating to perimeter security around the quarry).

Huge pothole reopened again next to the bus stop, 2nd January
Very large pothole reopened next to the bus shelter opposite the kennels, thus is very deep and extremely dangerous and needs fixing straight away. The whole stretch of this road from John Ireland Way to the Water Lane Junction is not fit for purpose and desperately needs resurfacing due to the large number of HGV vehicles that use this stretch of road to access the Cemex inert landfill site on Water Lane abd the constant road sweeping of this road.
