Reduced highway due to excessive tree and vegetation growth through its entire length, 18th June
The total length of broomers hill lane has excessive tree and vegetation growth reducing the roads width and making it difficult for two cars (even) to pass. This results in damage to door mirrors etc. Much worse, when a HGV is passing too. This is a fact on many if not all roads and letters should be written to the land owners were applicable!

A number of potholes reported on road to Borough Farm, 22nd March
A number of large potholes were reported (greater than 10 inches) in 2022 to the West Sussex pot hole portal on the council website and whilst I received acknowledgement nothing has been done 12 months later and the problem is getting worse. My subsequent chase ups have not even received a response. Can you help?

Speed limit signs obscured, 12th June
Not only at this location. Also at adversane approaching Pulborough. The overgrown vegetation is overgrown to the point of being dangerous. I couldn’t possibly report all the signs locally that are obscured but many speed limit signs, warning signs, upcoming junction signs etc are completely obscured by vegetation. The junction at adversane is an accident hot spot where there have been multiple fatalities and sight lines are obscured by overgrown grass when joining the a29 from the direction of wisborough green. Please please cut back the vegetation throughout the area to avoid a serious accident.

Large pothole on edge of road, 26th May
There is a large pothole on the edge of the road that has gotten larger and deeper over months. It is now so deep it may damage wheels. The road is also narrow and it’s hard to avoid. It is on the left side of Broomershill road if driving in the direction from the A29 to A283. Just past Brocks Rew

Asbestos dumped just off road, 30th January
Four black sacks filled with asbestos, dumped just down the bank at the side of the road. I didn't move it, but it is easy to see at the moment as the vegetation has died back.

Overgrown hedge, 7th August
From A29 junction up to entrance to Oakdene nursery the left hand hedge is so overgrown it makes Blackgate lane single file and takes up 50% of the lane and is particularly dangerous for traffic turning off the A 29. It has been bad for a very long time but now is unacceptable.

Very large maybe 15 inches across and maybe 20 inches long by edge of road, 4th February
I have just driven over it as it is not visible in almost darkenss, and its filed with water. My tyre (a new one put on at Christmas) is wrecked. Is just before Gay St Lane turning off the A29 coming south from Horsham direction.

Bridleway not sign posted, 20th January
There is a finger post which shows the footpaths straight ahead and to the right but doesn’t show the bridleway to the left and the route it takes in front of the farm where building work is underway. We think this is deliberately misleading and needs to be rectified

Footpaths blocked/not clear, 9th April
There are suppose to be 2 footpaths through what is now a vineyard. The signposting is very poor and there are no indications for walkers. One of the paths (the more northerly) seems to have been completely blocked off with no discernible exit.
