Large pothole forming outside Alexandra House, near the give way lines at this heavily used junction (northbound, Haywards Heath Road).
One of many potholes forming on this part of Haywards Heath Road. The entire junction area is cracking like crazy paving and has seen multiple temporary repairs in the last few weeks, which have failed. This patch of road requires a long lasting repair.
Please note, this is a new report, unrelated to the three potholes reported a few meters away on the southbound roadside. Please do not close this report until work has been completed.

Multiple potholes reforming in an area that was recently “repaired”, 15th March
Two more potholes reforming in an area that was repaired mere weeks ago. Had the smaller potholes been tackled at the same time as the main repair, this situation could have been avoided.
Please could you repair the entire area (approximately 2 meters of road), rather than just focusing on the biggest pothole every few weeks and leaving the smaller holes? Thank you.

Pothole reformed 3 days after poor “repair”, 28th January
Despite being “repaired” on 23JANUARY2022 this pothole reformed 3 days later on 26JANUARY2022. The clump of material used to fill it has been propped at the side of the road.
False economy. Please do it properly this time before someone is seriously injured. Please consider this another request for comprehensive work on this stretch of road. This has been repeatedly requested for several years.

B2036 driving along from Balcombe to Burgess Hill, 7th December
Could you look at having someone clear up the litter along the B2036 which has accumulated along such a lovely country road; there is discharged food wrappers, tin cans, bottles and various odd large plastic bags blown along the green verges.

Dangerous potholes and rutting, 29th May
The streatch of road running from Balcombe Railway Station car park southwards for approximately 100m is deeply rutted and scattered with potholes. Drivers swerve to avoid pot holes which are difficult to see as the road is shaded by trees. Potholes are deeper than 10cm and are approximately 50cm wide. The tarmac wearing surface has been worn away and this area needs immediate attention to avoid an accident.
