Lethal pothole, 19th March
Northbound carriageway about 30-40 metres north of junction. A number of potholes have been filled recently but one huge 60 x 60 cm and 20 cm deep pot hole remains. Why on earth did the contractor not fill all the holes? Now drivers think the road is repaired until they hit the remaining hole. If they swerve to miss it they find the next pothole near the centre line and hit that instead. This section of the road remains very dangerous and an accident will follow. So come on WSCC Highways get this whole section of road surveyed and fill all the potholes quickly. Let’s see if you can fix it in this budget year. The real problem is that everything is contracted out and nobody wants to carry out a professional job and seal the repair joints.

2ft diameter pothole, 11th March
This has caused a lot of damage and burst tyres again this morning, for the 3rd time in as many years. 7 incidents that I saw in one hour. The whole road needs re surfacing properly, not surface dressing.

They are large and deep middle road more '10, 24th February
Just a heads up on the situation in Ansty. They have filled one big one, which has stayed, as you enter the village from BH direction, but the ones they 'bodged' on the centre line washed away considerably over the last 2 days, so are back to being pretty lethal again. Also noticed centre line between Ansty and Cuckfield roundabouts has now got a few potential nasties. Please do take care when travelling through this section of road.i have got get two new tryers as i almost cam off on the motorbike there are potholes all up the road if i hit on im off and dead
