Multiple large potholes and road surface completely disintegrating under flood, 10th March
The road surface of the road leading into Stonor Village is completely disintegrating. There are so many potholes including deep large ones that are impossible to avoid and are dangerous. Because of the flooding on the road, these cannot be seen, making driving safely impossible. The speed limit here is 60mph which is way too fast anyway because of animals and cyclist on the road, however the ongoing works here without any warning / speed limit signs make the stretch of road incredibly dangerous to drive on as cars are driving in the middle of the road. Complete road resurfacing has been due for years as the potholes that have been fixed last only days before the filling starts to break-up again. The current huge pothole goes across half the road, is covered in flood water and is near a bend. Lethal.

Groundwater Flooding of B480 from the Assendon Stream now flowing down both sides of the road, 6th March
As the Assendon Stream is now flowing about 1.2km down the valley, the stream and groundwater is now flowing southbound down the B480. Partly as a result of the watercourse being heavily silted and groundwater pouring out of highway drains, just south of where stream flows under road from field, south of Stonor Village.
Not severe at present, but flooding of the highway is starting. This has been increasing in recent days. But I feel flood/ice/slow warning signs need to be erected to warn motorists. This has been increasing in recent days.
I understand OCC is currently progressing up the valley to desilt the watercourse.
