Supposedly drain/service manhole damage, 25th March
There has been a report by the resident that there is damage on the cover of the manhole this is why they keep adding cones. However, we came through last week to find 3 cones spread across the road making it a dangerous 1 at a time system then when school starts it's chaos. The next day there were 2 cones 1 meter from the hedge just past the hole and then another meter past that into the middle of the road for which I was unable to pass without moving cones. So I had to move cones to get past.

More are appearing with the existing ones getting larger and deeper. When it's wet they just fill and look like a puddle. They are approx 75 to 100mm deep and have sharp edges.

These have been here for in excess of 6 to 12 months. They are at a passing place down a single track lane making them difficult to miss. It is also near adriveway entrance.

Several potholes and edge of road deterioration, 22nd March
Several edge of road holes and general deterioration due to severe rain following certain routes on the highway and blocked drainage ditches this Winter. Close to another deepening hole which keeps being repaired but work never lasts. The deep hole now has a red cone installed, to avoid it will increase deterioration to the holes on the other side of the narrow lane.

Deepening flooding, hidden holes and general state of road, 17th March
A continuing problem at the top of Cocks Hill, the road is seriously deteriorating now beneath the flooded road, drainage ditch and beyond towards Hook End where presume people come to a halt and have to turn around. There are also some formal highway signs now on the ground in the middle of the road which are a danger in themselves
