Continuous water running down road., 16th April

Tue, 16 Apr 2024 23:38:42 +0100
51.374658 -1.080163

The road has a small stream running down the southern side of the road and has been like this for a long time (before the wet winter I seem to remember) even after a few days without any rain it is still running flat out either as a water main leak or the nearby sewage pumping station is somehow leaking across to the other side of the road. None of the other roads are this wet around here and in the past when it has frozen during a cold snap it is really lethal.

Tue, 19 Mar 2024 23:05:17 +0000
51.37495 -1.079552

As you come up St.Catherines Hill, at the brow of the steep slope the pothole is waiting for you on the left side just out from the edge. Causing drivers to swing out wide to miss it, potential to hit oncoming vehicles - not ideal for anyone brave enough to cycle up there either.

Yet another pothole !, 15th March

Fri, 15 Mar 2024 15:56:13 +0000
51.382923 -1.091728

Several potholes have recently been filled in along this stretch of road ( thank you ) however another large & deep one is forming at the edge of a previous reinstatement & getting larger on a daily basis . It’s located on the left hand side of the carriageway travelling towards Burghfield from Tadley. A busy & unlit commuter route hence has potential to cause damage to vehicles or accident.

Deep pothole forming & getting larger daily. Located on the kerbside of the carriageway travelling from Burghfield towards Tadley, just after the gated entrance. A busy commuter route & unlit at night hence difficult to avoid & a potential hazard to both car drivers, motorcyclists & bicycle riders., 15th March

Several large & deep potholes, 6th March

Wed, 06 Mar 2024 16:54:02 +0000
51.382581 -1.093307

There are 2 potholes in close proximity along the Padworth Road travelling towards Burghfield from Tadley. The largest & deepest is closer to the central line & one more recently developed just before it close to the verge side. This makes it almost impossible not to hit one or the other !! In fact there are several more appearing along this same stretch of road .. most of which have been filled in before. This is a very busy commuter route which is unlit making these potholes much more hazardous at night. There is the potential of tyre & vehicle damage plus serious accident and injury. Please attend to as a matter of urgency as the largest of the potholes has been evident for a few weeks now & many people have reported tyres damaged on local social media. Thank you

Dangerous pothole, 4th March

Mon, 04 Mar 2024 23:37:00 +0000
51.382494 -1.093827

Although previously reported this pothole is getting significantly worse. A large portion of the roof surface is completely missing. Estimate 1m long x 30cm wide x 20cm deep. On a national limit road hitting this at high will burst tyres, break wheels and cause an accident, it’s only a matter of time.
