Large construction traffic on single track country road used by horses, 12th April
Over the last 6 months to a year there has been a marked increase in heavy vehicle traffic down what is effectively a single track country road. It may be from Reading Golf Course development. Historically this is used by horse riders and is now becoming dangerous for us. It is also ruining the road, there are so many holes in it now. Can highways do anything to stop these vehicles using this road. Any restrictions that could be put in place? Someone will get hurt soon.

Residential boundry moved onto a public highway, 22nd March
A public grass verge, has been incorporated into a private garden, causing an already very narrow lane near a very sharp bend in the road, to be narrowed further. This is dangerous for drivers, horses and pedestrians. Also for the oil tankers, horse boxes and tractors that need to use the lane. It is very clearly not inline with the original boundaries of all the other houses and is a potential hazzard.

Damage to edges of lane and mud, 19th March
Mill Lane off 4074. First photo shows mud heaped in middle of lane occurring along three quarters of the lane, in some places 3-4” deep, causing problems with the low slung vehicles. Next 2 photos show damage to most edges of the lane caused by heavy vehicles and resulting in mud in middle of lane. The state of the lane at the junction of Mill Lane and Tokers Green I have reported many times since 2017 and yet nothing is done! It is in an appalling state.
