ISSUE: Violence Against Women and Girls
ACTION: We continue to prioritise combatting Violence Against Women and Girls. Following a month of enhanced patrols in the Night Time Economy we continue to deploy into the Town Centre on weekends to ensure that it is a safer space for everyone to enjoy a night out. We have been working with partners within licensing to review incidents and provide advice to licensees on how to better protect customers. We also continue to work with local educational establishments to highlight our intolerance to violent offences against women and girls. We have directly combatted violent offending during County Lines Intensification Week
