Maidenhead Road - very dangerous string of potholes, 25th April
These have been there for over a year, but in the last few months the tarmac has disintegrated. Too dangerous to stop and measure, but these are several inches deep, spread across a third of the carriageway, and go on for at least 2 car lengths. I am amazed this has not been repaired as a priority. At best, cars are at risk of severe damage, at worst there could be a serious crash. This must be attended to as a matter of urgency.

Hazardous Pothole on Maidenhead Road, Newell Green (///drank.leave.slick) Needs Immediate Repair, 4th April
I would like to report a large deep hazardous pothole that urgently requires attention. The pothole is situated on Maidenhead Road in Newell Green. The precise location can be pinpointed using the what3words address: ///drank.leave.slick
Description of the issue:
The pothole is on the edge of a previously repaired section of the road, close to the curb line. The dimensions of the pothole are significant enough to cause potential damage to vehicles, especially tires and suspension systems. There is standing water in the pothole, which indicates that it may be deep and could worsen with further rainfall or traffic. The edges of the pothole are fragmented, suggesting that the area around it is unstable and may lead to further disintegration of the road surface. Loose gravel and debris are scattered around the pothole, presenting additional risks to both vehicles and cyclists, especially those who might not see the pothole in time to avoid it. This pothole poses a significant safety risk to motorists and cyclists alike and could lead to vehicle damage or accidents, especially under poor visibility conditions. Given the location and the potential for harm, I urge the relevant department to prioritize this repair.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I trust that the issue will be addressed swiftly to ensure the safety of all road users.
