FIXMYSTREET IN RG26 5JT
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of RG26 5JT:
Massive hole and danger of severe accident, 18th April
There is no way these huge recurring holes are not known by the repair crews filling specific holes on Little Knowl Hill Road near Ashford Hill but they clearly ignore them and the council then try to suggest they don't know about it. It's been this bad for weeks. As I've said at least 4 times relating to this corner, the whole of Little Knowl Hill Road needs cutting back and relaying from Brimpton Road to the A339. Anything else is a nutter waste of money as patch repairs are lasting sometimes less than a week.

Dangerous large potholes, uneven road surface, 23rd February
Huge potholes, crator like - B3051/accessing Chapel Lane (to gain access to the Children's Playground and field) The potholes are very deep, at least half a tyre depth some of them. The lane is 2 way, and one side of the lane is unsuitable and dangerous to drive on. It's a minefield of pot holes, the entrance and road need to be resurfaced. If cars are parked, on the lane as well - it forces vehicles to use the unsafe, crumbling, pot hole broken area of the road. Accident and damage waiting to happen for any unsuspecting Childrens Playground/field user.

You patch one hole and leave 5 others within 40’, 20th February
The last report I left made clear that the broadband contractor had left Knowl Hill road in a terrible state. In addition there is a huge hole next to a drain on the other side of the road that is a risk to life but they were ignored by the highways work. Leaving these holes when reported leaves the council and the repairers culpable for car damage and human injury. As mentioned on 4 repair requests now, this road needs properly relaying from Wheathold through Ashford Hill to Brimpton Common lane. Please stop wasting tax payers money and repair this road properly.
