The pot hole started a few weeks ago and is rapidly getting bigger with the road either side of it appearing to deteriorate and sink. It's in the middle of the road and with the cars constantly parked is tricky to avoid.

A pothole has started on the near side of Sherfield Road going towards Bramley, just before the electric sub station. Initially it was where vehicles have run over the road edge but that is now breaking up with large bits now on the highway.
