Unnecessary traffic during school drop off time St Bedes, 12th April
Parents queue to enter St Bedes car park every school morning between 8:45-9:15 and block traffic from using the road. Parents will queue to turn right into the school, even though there is already a long queue of parents turning left from the opposite side. Because of this, parents will sit and wait long periods of time before they can turn right. This blocks the road completely and traffic going either way cannot pass. It also blocks traffic from leaving Abbey Road too. I believe this needs to be a no right turn into the school to allow traffic to move freely during this time. Photos show 2 different days with the same problem. 1 photo shows traffic queued back to the traffic lights by Tewkesbury Close all for the same reason. Has been like this for many years and is getting progressively worse as more people travel in for this school.

Van parking on grass area destroying the grass and curb, 29th March
This works van has been parking half on the layby and half on the grass, bumping on and over the curb. They have been destroying the grass, creating a ditch that collects rainwater that does not drain away. This creates a muddy bog. The van drags the mud across the road daily. The curb is being destroyed by the van bumping over this daily. It is very unsightly.

It's unavoidable especially when a car parks directly opposite and when more than one car is stopping to allow uphill drivers through the traffic calmer. It's been here a long time now since it was filled when it was a lot smaller but it's re appeared and is now very urgently in need of attention as its dangerous. .
