FIXMYSTREET IN RG20 8SB
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of RG20 8SB:
Deep Drepression, 29th April
On the left had lane of the southbound carriageway, there is some sort of deep depression. The depression is so bad that it jars drivers of cars and causes lorries to violently sway. Following the recent resurfacing, there are marks on the south side of the depression indicating that that side is being hit by the under side of vehicles or there is undue wear on the surface or tyres.
The depression is between the "For Hermitage follow Chieveley" and the 'Rain Forrest' signs.

Large Area of Surface is Broken Away, 11th April
The road surface on the Northbound carriageway, in the right hand lane has deteriorated massively and is close to being unavoidable completely. It is several metres in length and width, and is also of considerable depth. It is located just past the lay-by as the road bends making it even more dangerous. There are also a number of smaller disruptions to the surface prior to that.

Depression across A34 Southbound carriage way WORSTENING, 29th January
This has been reported before but is getting worse! You used to be able to get over to lane 2 to avoid the worst of the depression which now has scrape marks as cars bottom out over the depression, but now that is not possible as lane 2 is also subsiding!

Large sudden dip, 20th January
Large sudden dip across both lanes of the southbound carriage way. It is worse in the inside lane. Sudden dip causing cars to bounce up suddenly, surprising the drivers and other drivers who know where it is to swerve into the outside lane dangerously to avoid. This is really not ideal for a major road such as this one

Potholes, uneven surface, awful roads, 8th January
The near side lane of the A34 southbound towards Reading is completely appalling. The issue has been present for a number of years but is worsening. It is an issue for the entire route - I would suggest from Didcot onwards the potholes worsen, and the worst point is the junction between Chievely and Newbury. The conditions are terribly poor, unavoidable in heavy traffic/low lighting and I would please implore highways to review the quality of the roads. It is damaging my tyres and as a route I do regularly I would appreciate this being looked into.
