Significant bump in road at give way point, 29th February
At the last give way point on Cold Ash road going north there is considerable bump in the road parallel to the keep left island, the surface is rutted and growing a pothole in both wheel tracks, please consider patching over the whole lane at this area.

Article on road punctured tyre, 27th November
On 19 November on east bound carriageway, one of our tyres was punctured in the middle of the tread by three holes. It flattened very quickly. We had to call RAC as no spare on Mini Countryman. The new tyre with call out on a Sunday cost us £185.00 Are we due compensation?

Request for tree preservation order, 16th September
Weeping Willow tree which is beautiful and is well cared for. The willow is located in the centre of Hermitage Village next to where the old telephone box used to be and in the corner of the Fox Inn car park. It provides a really unique centrepiece/backdrop/landmark to Hermitage and would be a great loss should any future development occur. I believe this tree should be subject to TPO.

Two potholes on bend 12”, 13th May
There are two potholes. One is right on the bend and it causes traffic coming up the hill to cut the corner to avoid it, risking collision with oncoming traffic and I am sure an accident is not far off. The one by the drain is a few metres further down the hill but again cause traffic to move out and cars coming down the hill have to react to avoid collision as they don’t see them because of the bend. The potholes have been there a couple of months but are getting bigger

Loose noisy manhole cover, 11th May
The surface water manhole cover has sunk, the tarmac has broken away on one side and is also cracking on the other sides. Every car that travels in either direction hits it , adding to the sinking and causing headache inducing clanging noises at all hours of the day and night. For a residential area there is a surprising volume of vehicles travelling over it all day. The sound is amplified because it bounces off the houses, it is intolerable.
