DANGEROUS SITUATION The electricity Meter attached to the distribution box for the A34 Pumping Station is falling off, 21st February
The electricity Meter attached to the distribution box for the A34 Pumping Station has fallen off and is only supported by the electric cable. The meter box fell off in July last year, and I have been continually hounding SSE and EDF to try and get it fixed, who claim that it is not their problem as the distribution box to which it used to be attached is fine and it is supplier side. It is not on our land, and I first tried reporting it to West Berks Council who said that it wasn't their responsibility. The Meter is MSN K17C01629 and MPAN [phone removed] - PUMPING STATION, A34 BYPASS, OXFORD ROAD, NEWBURY, BERKSHIRE. No one will tell me who owns it, but this is clearly dangerous at the bottom of our School drive and needs to be fixed.

It is limited to zero reflectivity and dangerous in wet weather.

Cars bottoming out, 23rd March
This is a 30mph byway / highway but 3mph is about the max possible without cars bottoming out. The 50yd stretch at the end is a constant issue, especially in rainy conditions - the holes hv been filled with scalpings or planings in the past but always get washed out. This stretch needs proper preparation and tarmac’ing.

Road surface completely detroriated, 26th January
Approaching this roundabout there should not be deep holes in the right hand lane if you have come from the Hilton Hotel behind this roundabout. There are also no road markings or give way line plus once upon a time there were two lanes shown here. Not been resurfaced or white lined since being done around 2006 I believe...

Half of sign missing, 26th January
The exact location of this sign is difficult to pin point but can provide screenshot from dash cam. It should show 4 lanes ahead but as the sign may have been stolen for scrap there are only 2 of the 4 lanes shown. As this is really important info should be reinstated urgently. Many people end up crossing the chevrons and solid white lines near the services as a result of being in the wrong lane in part due to lack of proper signage
