FIXMYSTREET IN RG10 0QR
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of RG10 0QR:
Pothole, 25th April
There is a large pot hole in the road on the right hand side of the second lane from the inside - just as you go under the bridge just when you get to the 1mile to go to JCT10 sign. I come off at JCT 10 but have ended up using that lane to come off as one the slip road onto the A329 there is a large ridge which makes the whole car jump which is worse on the inside lane - the pothole is the lesser of the two bad options, but is still causing damage to my car suspension. and wheels/tyres.

Drains and grids blocked, 20th June
Drains around West End Lane,Mire Lane and Plough Lane , area have lots of compacted mud leaves and general rubbish, some with the grids blocked, this causes flooding of the road and on to and into our property. We have done our best to alleviate this problem with various work and have in the past with my daughter removed the grids and dug the dirt out of the drain, removing barrow loads. I have reported this to the council but they do not want to know. If they were kept clean and the roads swept it would make so much difference, surely it is the councils responsibility to do this.

No sign to cancel the 40MPH speed restriction after lane closure, 1st June
2330 - 31/5/23 : I was having a very stressful drive last night, Eastbound on M4, as I had a sudden colitis attack while driving - this situation and stress was exacerabted by the fact that after the coned-off lanes had come to an end, near the M25 junctionthere was no sign to adjust the speed limit from the imposed 40mph back to the national limit, or any other speed greater than 40mph - it then became dangerous to travel at that speed as most other drivers assumed that the restriction was lifted and were at full speed

Lane closure lights, 12th December
10:50 this morning- car had broken down but nothing was shown to avoid the inside lane. Very dangerous. I joined the motorway at jct 8/9. Lady was already out the car and walking to the nearest lay-by so she had broken down for some time - so the warnings should have been in place by this time.
