Tree felling Miller Close PO305PS, 13th May
We have been given a note from the owners of Cedar Lodge that the intend to remove a tree from front garden and that access to our home(s) wll be blocked be a ‘Grapple Crane’ from 0930hrs to 16.00hrs. They have told us that we need to park our cars in Poole Ave ( how is the crane suppose to get passed? ). We informed the that they should contact Island Roads, but quickly told, ‘we own the road so if we want to close it we can’. With such a dangerous operation and with their logistics not right, we need to ensure that things are going correctly. This is very short notice, please note there is not enough room for us all to park in Poole Ave, same goes with Nicholas St. surely some traffic control is required.

Dangerous crossing for horse and rider., 11th May
The horse yard comes (hacking or riding) exit comes out this lane and then the only current route goes down chawton lane as there is no access to Parkhurst due to the land owner refusing to allow through horses across her land.
If you were to stand on this lane, you are entirely blind on the corner as shown and it is very dangerous to cross the road.
I am considering making my own horse warning sign to hold out into traffic to warn of us crossing as cars shoot around this corner but there is no time to see/be warned... very dangerous for rider and traffic.

Hedge growth, 11th May
The hedge at the entrance to Noke common belonging to the Old School house on the corner is reducing the visibility splay line when exiting from Noke Common. Traffic coming from Newport is hard to see. the hedge should be cut straight up verticuly from the back of the pavement. i have raised this issue before alerting you to the possible danger caused o traffic. It needs cutting back hard.

Manhole loose and VERY noisy there are two,lots o lorries/heavy vehicles constantly,most upsetting even at night,thanks, 9th May
Manhole loose near Lonsdale avenue,in fact two of them,very disturbing, especially when big vehicles go to and from all day long,and at night too,is this due to be fixed please ?
