The car has been there for months now, 10th May
This car has been parked here for months and nobody has even been to move it. It's right on the corner of Broadwood lane and is causing a blind spot entering Broadwood lane. Meaning cars come out on to Gunville Road and cars in to Broadwood lane can't see past the car that is parked on that corner. There have been near crashes quite a few times now. I live opposite and watch what happens

Rubbish dumped and vehicle for 7 years, 29th April
The rubbish has been dumped, and starting to accumulate, the green bin is from when someone was living in a van last winter,
The red van is owned but has been there for 7+ years. There is propane cans in the back, but is full of rubbish.
The white van is owned by the same person who owns the red van, moved because it’s not being repaired.
His spot is where the red van is.

Bin after being reported still lying in the same position., 29th April
This bin has been vandalised and discarded from the opposite side of the road sometime over the 2023 Christmas period. It was was reported yet here lays a perfect bin just wanting to be reused. I Reiterate I will meet Island Roads and show you the location of this bin as you can’t seem to find it. I notice Island Roads vehicles passing by this location regularly! I can see it from my car heaven knows why it can’t be seen by Your vehicles.

Previously repaired pothole opening up again, 26th April
You kindly did a temporary repair on a pothole but it has reopened up again. It is on the apex of a bend in Whitcombe rd. It will s in such a position that it has previously caused a motorcyclist to hit it and cause him to veer into incoming carriageway. It is about 12 inches wide and 4 inches deep.

Inconsiderate parking causing threat to pedestrians and limiting access to emergency vehicles, 25th April
There has been a recent increase in parking at and near the entrance to Alvington Road. Firstly this obstructs the visibility of vehicles entering and leaving onto Calbourne Road and gives pedestrians nowhere to go. Wide vehicles parking opposite the lamppost make the road impassable and require a search for the drivers to move. This was a disabled place that was used by a very small car, now it is a popular place even for large vans. Other vehicles have been parking on the south side of the road by the lamppost making a chicane, again impossible for delivery lorries and emergency vehicles to get past. Vehicles entering Alvington Road from the Close have reduced visibility and face vehicles travelling on the wrong side of the road to avoid the parked vehicles. There are no pavements on this stretch of road and pedestrians are exposed to the unpredictable decisions of drivers who cannot see if the road ahead is clear.
