Large Pot Hole, 4th April
Outside the substation there is a very large pothole that has reappeared. It was fixed recently but this has now broken up and currently being hidden by a large puddle of water. The stones and tarmac are being strewn across the carriage way which is causing additional issues.

Tarmac around a metal cover, 28th March
The tarmac around the metal drain cover is deteriorating quickly. This was repaired a couple of years ago but at that time was quite a big undertaking closing the south bound carriageway. So better to do it now perhaps - "a stitch in time saves nine!"

Flooding B2166 Hunston, 7th March
Road floods every time there is moderate rain - stays there for days or weeks, First happen Nov 2023 (storm Ciaran) It causes long traffic delays morning and evening - damaging the road surface and likely the cars too.

Lack of Pavement/ Walk way., 28th February
There is no walkway at all down this road and I feel like there should be it’s a busy road and there is a nursery where parents and their young children have to walk down as not everyone has cars and it’s extremely dangerous.

Dangerously parked car causing access issues, 16th February
A small white Hyundai (i10 or i20 i think) has started parking daily at the entrance to Fletcher Place, on the pavement on church road outside ‘The Cottage’ b&b. This is repeatedly causing issues with pedestrians having to walk in the road instead of the pavement, making it very difficult for people with wheelchairs and pushchairs. It’s especially frustrating because the property appears to have ample off road parking. My main concern is that it’s going to cause a car accident. The manoeuvre to get in and out of Fletcher Place is now very unnatural because of this parked car, and especially for large vehicles. I would be very concerned if an emergency services vehicle needed to get into Fletcher place such as an ambulance or especially a fire engine. If there were a fire in the road, people would potentially burn to death due to this person’s selfish parking

2m x 1m x 150mm pothole opposite Hills entrance, 5th January
Hit this driving home at 6pm so dark and unlit. Resulted in buckled car wheel and flat tyre on 3rd Jan 2024. Dont know how long its been there as on xmas hols until 2nd. Rescuer also hit same pothole but no damage.

No street lights working, 27th November
Not one street light around hunston roundabout is working about 4 or 5 around the area are broken so the area is completely pitch black, and for about a month now at night.

Numerous blocked Drains along length of entire ring road., 17th November
Flooding caused by debris not being regularly cleared from drains. The flood drains along the entire length of Chichester bypass floods in several places because the central barrier drains are blocked by soil, general rubbish, plants, small trees etc. This road is massively over congested and not fit for purpose & this lack of basic maintenance only serves to make it worse & is a danger. Please do not run a sweeper over it as you did last year when i reported it the soil is only then pushed to one side to be washed back at the next downpour. The soil needs shovelling away to prevent reoccurrence.

Off the roundabout of hunston towards north mundham a flood has taken over both sides of the road as high as the kerbs has been there over a week nothing done yet causing traffic in mornings.
