Dangerous junction, 16th February
The road needs to be amended. Pulling out and turning right from Tanhouse Road crosses a fast corner on a blind bend. Too many times cars narrowly miss other road users crossing here. Furthermore, the junction is a danger for pedestrians crossing as road users coming down the hill can not see into the junction. A revised traffic solution must be found to make this area more safe. Lots of elderly, prams and disabled people use this junction to cross over into town. A roundabout or traffic light solution would help slow traffic and make crossing safer for cars coming out of the crossroads and for pedestrians crossing the junction. Looking forward to your response,
Joseph.
