Overhanging Trees, 30th September
The trees and other overhanging growth are from the garden of the property known as Moorlink. This property is apparently, the subject of an investigation by the Law Society and Police having been unoccupied since the death of the owner some years ago, it seems that the Solicitor who was the sole executor has been misbehaving.! No action is being taken over maintenance of this property and its garden, which is why the road is now overhung with trees and shrubs. I don't suppose that this is a Highways matter, but thought that I should draw it to your attention in case it is the cause of an incident. Regards, T Pawley

Drain on east approach to the bridge blocked, 19th November
A stream runs down the west side of the road towards the river. It passes under a private driveway ok but then the pipe under the road is partially blocked so that water flows up from the drain cover and across the road
