Loose manhole cover, 24th April
I have already reported this loose cover and someone has come out and had a look. The report was closed without informing me and giving any update on this site. The metal cover still goes clackclack every time a vehicle goes over it. This is a main road and traffic is constant day and night. Our sleep is being disrupted every night and it appears nothing is being done. At the very least you could have the decency to let me know your intentions, if any.

Unauthorised traffic lights, 23rd April
Once again Balfour Beatty have erected temporary traffic lights (3-way) on the A6121 High Street, junction with Pit Lane. There is no notice of authorisation on RCC website or on one.network. These road works are clearly planned and part of the housing development at The Crescent.

The potholes are disguised by one huge puddle, but there are multiples potholes all together in several areas along this road. It was lovely when it was first surfaced but the sugar beet lorries have caused a lot of damage

Road breaking/wearing away/ pothole, 2nd April
There are two parts near the middle bottom of the road where the surfaces has worn away and has become two holes getting wider. They are both in the middle and requires vehicles to drive over the middle to avoid driving in them. The issue has been there for several months and the holes have gotten worse as the weather has been cold and wet. Please can these be fixed soon

Noisy manhole cover, 23rd March
The manhole cover outside my house has started to become loose, creating a clack-clack noise everytime a vehicle drives over it. Whilst it is annoying in the daytime, and disturbs our sleep in the night-time, it could a warning of imminent collapse.

The road surface has been deteriorating over several months and a length of road approximately 100m long is now potholed and breaking down along the central white line. This is exacerbated by traffic having to run over the broken road surface due to the overhanging trees beside the road, forcing the traffic out.
