Several illegible road traffic signs, 21st November
All of the road signs on the A605 from the Elton junction, starting with a 'Welcome to Northamptonshire' sign all the way to the Warmington Roundabout are either obscured by vegetation or covered in algae and moss to the point of being illegible, particularly at night. Some of these signs are important safety signs such as marking a no-U-turns stretch and it ending. It has been getting gradually worse for years but I feel it does now need attention. Thank you.

Large sections of the roads on edges has broken up causing large gaps along the side of the road all the way up top, 21st October
The are huge gaps at side of road on left mist othe way past the hamlet coming up the crossroads where the road surface is missing and drops down all way up to the top which can puncture tyres if you have to move onto verge

Towpath significantly overgrown and difficult for walkers to pass.., 12th October
It was agreed with Northamptonshire Highways that this path would be cut/cleared twice a year. This has not been done at all in 2023.

Mud in the road covering 1 lane, 23rd August
Badgers are digging up the side of the road and putting mug on the road. Mud is 6-8 inches thick.

Soil dug out onto road on corner., 23rd August
Animals have dug out a large amount of soil onto the road. This has been compacted by vehicles and is now a hard lump on a blind corner. When it rains this will become a skid risk. Reported this tweo weeks ago direct by phone, but no action taken

The large green road signs on the 605 between Peterborough road 605 to the Warmington Roundabout are so filthy one can barely read them.

Bridleway/Greenway obstructed by vegetation, 15th June
Large rose bush overhanging path with nettles to other side leaving only a small gap on the surfaced path (2-2.5m wide) on this 15foot wide bridleway. Its difficult to cycle past these without getting scratced or stung.

Gate difficult to open and close because it's dropped, 3rd May
This new gate has already become difficult to open or close-it requires lifting up whilst holding up the latch handle because the gate has dropped on it's hinges. This means that two hands and maybe a foot is needed to operate the gate - it can't be done from a bike saddle. On closing the gate latch element hits the post latch bluntly on the front and requires lifting into the latch itself - again needing two hands. Despite being new it does not comply with British Standards that are designed to ensure disabled access and now it's become even more difficult.

Long deep pothole approx 100m after the bridge leaving Elton, 3rd May
The pothole is approx 5m long, 0.5m wide and 15cm deep. The edges are sharp and rough and ripped the side out of my tyre when I hit it and buckled the wheel. This cause the tyre to deflate immediately and the car to swerve across the road - very dangerous has there been any other cars on the road.

Severely degraded surface for approximately 300m from Elton bridge towards the pig farm., 18th April
There are numerous holes in the road on the northamptonshire side of Elton bridge for c 300 metres. The whole stretch needs proper resurfacing. This is a busy and narrow road and the presence of potholes on both sides mean that vehicles increasingly drive in the middle creating an increased risk of head one accidents. The road was partially resurfaced a few years ago and this has held up well. Sections which were only patched up have not.
