A pot hole /sinking road, 29th April
This pot hole /sinking road surface has appeared with in just one week - following heavy plant machinery and lorries associated with new housing site coming along Ashton Road. The hole is in the middle of the road, roughly between House No 7 and House No 8. Cars park either side of the road so it’s tricky to miss driving over it. The road surface surrounding the pothole (as is shown by the photo) is damaged and cracking.

The flooding happened in early January 2024 and the water remained for 4 days. All the drains in the village would benefit from a clean to clear the debris that has built up over the years.

A Request Timing Review, 23rd April
The traffic lights in North Street are still out of sync (2 weeks at least) I noticed this just before going on holiday and mentioned it to an X4 bus driver. Clearly dangerous and needing repair asap.

Deep pot hole in main run of road, not at edge. Caused damage to car wheel, 21st April
Deep large pot hole in east bound side road, just around speed limit change from 40mph to national speed limit. Unable to take photos as was middle of night, big enough to cause damage to vehicle on Sunday 21st April 2024, and very load bang from impact at 35mph. Was avoiding pot holes at road edge and this was more towards main lane about 1 metre from edge. No markings visible to show the pot hole in the dark.
