Silt Road, Nordelph. Near junction with A1122, immediately before the river bridge, on a smaller junction and a blind bend, just outside Victoria Chapel.
A recently-made repair to a pothole at this location has started to disintegrate, resulting in a new pothole which is deep and has sharp edges, ideal for damaging tyres - see photos.
Debris from the pothole is spreading across the road causing a further hazard.
This is on a blind bend, on a junction and on the incline of the river bridge.
The pothole is NOT visible to drivers who are approaching it, (those heading toward the bridge).
This is a particular danger to motorcyclists.

Large pot hole in middle of road on approach to bridge from silt road, 23rd March
Pot hole has been there a couple of weeks and could easily damage a car. It makes turning on to the high street in Nordelph from Silt Road challenging as can’t position car correctly to turn.

Road obstructed, 15th November
The Drove (aka Barroway Drove or Barroway Drove Road), between Nordelph and Barroway Drove, about 700m from the A1122 junction at Nordelph. A significant amount of material has either fallen from a vehicle or has been dumped on the highway at this location and is creating an hazard.
This matter has been reported to you, NCC Highways, because it is a problem on the highway, if however, you prefer to have some other body deal with it, please pass the information on to them direct.
It is imperative this hazard be removed as a matter of urgency.

Large sign falling over due to neglect, 13th June
A1122 Nordelph. W3W ref: ///dressing.snored.spaceship Large roadsigns appears to have been struck by a vehicle but is actually falling over because of advanced corrosion of supporting post, due to neglect by NCC highways. This sign may well fall onto the pavement of indeed into the road, (the A1122) unless addressed promptly.

Very serious pothole, 31st December
On the A1122 from Nordelph to Salters Lode, nearer to the latter on the North side/edge of the road is a very serious pothole on a bend. If hit by a cyclist they would be thrown off. We hit it in our van in the dark as it is NOT near any street lights.

Dangerous obstruction of junction visibility., 4th June
Nordelph. Junction of Barroway Drove Road and the A1122. W3W ref: ///teach.sculpture.whirlwind.
There are a number of temporary roadsigns placed at the end of Barroway Drove Road informing of a closure further along, (beyond the Lady Drove Junction). These signs have been placed so as to obstruct entry to Barroway Drove Road from the A1122 for everyone, including the many people who need access to the road before the point at which it is closed. This is foolish enough in itself, but they also do an excellent job of obscuring the view of the A1122 traffic from the Right, to anyone who is trying to join the A1122 from Barroway Drove Road. Please refer to the photos which give an idea of the degree of obstruction of the visibility splay.
Please will you resite these signs somewhere more suitable. The same applies to the sign that is in the middle distance in the photos.

New stone surface has cracked my windscreen, 5th May
They have re-surfaced the road with stones and one flew up and has cracked my windscreen.
Also you can see the water sat on the road and there are holes already starting to appear.

Trees encroaching into the road, 14th August
Just as you turn into Barroway Drove Road the trees on the left are now becoming a hazard. Two vehicles cannot safely pass without either having to stop or to receive damage to your car. (This was discussed after the SBPC last meeting where Councillor Bishop confirmed that his vehicles experience problems with oncoming vehicles when they collect/drop off East View's school children). Roadside trees should be cut back

Pothole and sunken manholes with sharp edges, 14th June
A1122, near junction with Barroway Drove Road at Nordelph. Two of a group of four smaller manholes have sunk into the road leaving a pothole around them which has exposed the sharp edges of the metalwork. This is just after a bend and is in the nearside track of passing vehicles. This is a motorcyclist killer... please have it repaired urgently.

Sunken manhole in track of A1122, 9th May
A1122 at Nordelph, junction with Barroway Drove Road. A manhole is sinking almost by the day and is now quite a hazard, esp to motorcycles. The sharp edges of the ironwork are also now clearly accessible.

Large manhole collapsing in A1122. URGENT!, 24th April
A1122 between Nordelph & Outwell (heading away from Nordelph). A large manhole cover in the centre of the carriageway is in an advanced state of decay and looks like it will fall in at any minute. Please treat as urgent before it causes an accident.

Pothole around a manhole cover., 14th February
Nordelph. Junction of Barroway Drove Road with the A1122. A pothole has formed around the edge of a manhole cover in the middle of the junction. Sorry for no photo, not safe to take one, hence the street view image to show the location. The pothole is very obvious to anyone who cares to look. This same fault was last reported on 26 04 17 and repaired 04 05 17, but the problem has returned. Please note that there are several other manhole covers within about 20m of this one, that are suffering in the same way, and also need to be repaired.

Deep pothole, 17th January
Deep and dangerous pothole near to this area . Has been reported via the Parish Council but god knows how their reporting system works! (I raised a pothole issue for near the A1122 railway crossing at Downham and it was filled in within two days, brilliant service) but god knows how long its been outstanding from when the PC raised it!

Road surface delaminated and disintegrating, 15th June
Barroway Drove Road at junction with A1122, Nordelph. The road surface at the approach to this junction has delaminated leaving couple of large areas of road in exceptionally poor condition. A little further from here, the road also has developed bumps and depressions. Time for a proper repair rather than just more patching.
