Downham Market. Junction of High Street and Paradise Road.
The markings for the mini roundabout at this junction have been almost completely worn away by traffic. The other road markings at this junction are almost as bad. This is a busy junction despite its size and location. Clearer marking is needed as a matter of safety.

Sandy Lane shows on Sat Nav Google as the highway., 17th March
Having reported the error multiple times to Google maps vehicles from HGVs to towed caravans and expecially POLICE FIRE AND AMBULANCE find themselves directed on a single carriageway dirt track which requires HGVs to reverse back to escape and caravans too. It is clearly a huge error and reported by both Parish Council and residents but no help has been offered.we need Google to change the details. Sluice Road is the only access road usable and suitable for vehicular access

Collapsed drain or pothole near ind estate entrance, 9th March
This collapsed drain or pothole is getting deeper. The temp cone is almost as tall as the hole is deep. Cars and trucks get stuck in it.

2 for the price of 1! inoperable street lights which have almost no markings., 9th March
Bridge Street, Downham Market. Opposite the Town Hall car park (on the opposite side of the road from the town hall).
Not one, but two inoperable street lights, (see photos)
The first is right opposite the car park barrier for AJ Coggles, the second has a rather pointless 'Town Hall' sign attached to it.
Their numbers are POSSIBLY 929 & 930, but the markings on these lights, and others in the area, are virtually unreadable and in need of renewal, (again, see photos).

Large pothole near to the junction with London Road. This is on the direct path of the exit from Downham Market Police Station and the Fire Station. Vehicles pass this location regularly on blue lights and there is a genuine risk of a blow out due to the size

Pothole and dropped drain cover, 17th January
On the left hand side of the East bound side of the Bexwell Rd a drain cover has dropped plus there's an adjacent pothole which causes motorists to swerve to the right of the lane to avoid the wheel drop and potential tyre/wheel/suspension damage to vehicles.

Violent and strange pothole.., 1st September
20, Railway Road, Downham Market. Almost on the centreline of the road at this location is an easily-missed but violent pot hole that is not so much a pot hole as a small but deep depression in the road surface. There was a long-term leak from a water main here previously which may have washed away some of the sub soil. Whatever the cause, this defect needs attention..
NB This is the second report of this defect. - Previously reported through Fix My Street, 23:10, Tuesday 15 August 2023, but not acknowledged by NCC Highways.

Overgrown hedge blocking pedestrian & wheelchair access, 14th April
Pavement parking aside the overgrown hedge give pedestrians less of a chance to use the path.
Pedestrians forced to walk two car lengths in the middle of the road into oncoming traffic around the blind bend.
Uncovering the entire pavement would give pedestrians a fighting change at walking safely.
