At the junction with Bullock Road and Shepherdgate Road is a "County Council Maintained Unsurfaced Road" know as 'Five Mile Bank' which runs down the west side of a main dyke drain. This 'road' is very uneven. Apart from pedestrians walking tripping but also for machinery going down this and potentially going in to the said main drain dyke. Please tell me your inspection cycle for "CC Maintained Unsurfaced Road", when this was last inspected last and most importantly inspect and re grade or similar this 'road'. thank you.

18 inch round Huge Pothole, 18th December
A pothole extending from the edge of the road, approximately 18inches round at least 8 inches deep on the southbound side of the road. sharp edges, any wheel going in this will be damaged, no doubt.

Land has been encroached and fence erected on council land, 2nd September
The fence from the house next to it stops some 12 foot back but they have built out on to land which seems to not be theirs. So the area which has been taken or used without permission would measure 12ft deep and 36ft long, so a sizable space. Established trees and bushes have been removed to make way for this.

Lack of visibility due to overgrown verges, 27th July
Hillgate street is never maintained, every year it’s the same, VERY overgrown verges on both side mean it is an accident waiting to happen. This morning I had a car screech to a halt whilst I was walking the dog, the verges are full of thick brambles so there is no refuge area for walkers, no way for cars to pass another car safely. This has been this way since I moved to the village seven years ago. The council own the first meter of the road which they happily tell us when it suits them, but aren’t maintaining it as it should be. This road needs two yearly cuts as a minimum, roads should have a 1m cut, and corners should have a 2m cut for visibility.

Large Bumps on Road from Sutton Bridge To King’s Lynn (A17), 16th July
There are bumps throughout this road which are extremely dangerous on a motorbike. These bumps can cause you to become unbalanced if you are not prepared for them. Having to commute on this road everyday is tedious as it is, and these bumps don’t make it any better. They have been there for atleast 2 years so I have got used to them now, but any other rider who doesn’t know the roads will not be aware of these and anything could happen if they lose balance.

Overgrown verge making difficult to walk dogs without getting run over, 27th June
Verge is very overgrown with weeds and stinging nettles. We walk 3 dogs and often have to step into road which traffic goes by quickly very dangerous. It’s just off new a17 near industrial units other side of road was done last week and this has been forgotten.

At least 4 -6 road signs left on both sides of road on the a17 about a mile around J K windows, 29th March
These signs have been here for months now just laying on verge. Vehicles will clip these with bad consequences. Bad news for motorcycles

Footway station rd towards the junction A17 is dangerous., 5th March
Dangerously narrow and uneven . Impossible to walk side by side with dogs or children . In some places it’s less than 500mm wide .

Ash tree , evidence of ash die back disease . Branches contacting BT cable which was broken last year because of it . Also branches overhanging/impeding onto the highway., 5th March

Large pothole between Whitley house and Tuxhill Farm, 31st January
This pothole has been here a while. It's getting larger and as the road is a single track road it is hard to avoid. I believe that if a motorcycle were to hit it it could be a very serious outcome.
