Trailer parked on highway causing an obstruction, 19th April
A trailer has been parked on a very narrow side street on Oak Avenue outside house number 30 for the last 24 hours. It is causing an obstruction to larger cars which cannot pass safely so therefore have to mount the pavement. This is an unnecessary obstruction as there is a driveway available therefore it contravenes the High code Rule 242 and RTA. Sec 103 C & U Regs. The trailer is preventing free and clear access to the rest of the road to all vehicles but especially Emergency vehicles which would also have to mount the pavement to pass. Rule 243 and 242 of the HC applies It is parked incorrectly according to the new regulations as it is facing the opposite way to the flow of the traffic so reflector lights cannot be seen. It is not illuminated at night (our street lamps also turn off at night) the trailer could cause a danger and according to Reg 24 RVLR they should be illuminated at night in all circumstances.

Being locked in, 16th November
There are reports that there is a car park for general use, but at times the gate is locked and means cars are stranded in there. There is no number to call if the gate is locked and this is a public area. Why is the area locked.
This is not safe practice the elderly and disabled live locally and who like to walk their pets are restricted and worry about being locked in.
Is this acceptable? This is a public area not private and access should be 24hrs. It is after all a car park.

Deep pot hole approx 18-20 inches wide., 3rd November
There has been a water leak in this are for months, and twice in the summer the road round the leak has been marked with blue lines, it has never been fixed. It has got worse and worse. The lorries are going to and from the farm constantly at the moment and with these then going over the water leak and the water leak becoming worse there is now a massive pothole. It is approx 18-20 inches wide and at least 6 inches deep. If someone goes in it with a bike or motorbike they could be severely injured. And it’s so big that it would damage a car wheel now if it went in the hole.
