Flooded slip road, 15th May
In spite of this problem being reported many times and being told that it’s been dealt, the slip road joining the roundabout at the top of Morley way to the nene parkway northbound is once again flooded. It is very dangerous when trying to join a busy road with traffic doing up to 70mph as you have to slow right down as it covers the whole road. It floods every time it rains heavily, can it please be sorted.

The hedge is so huge you are unable to pass without crossing the road. It is a road to the school and people have to cross the road on the corner to get down Harewood Gardens

Sunken manhole cover, 15th May
Manhole cover on A15 southbound, left hand lane and in the left hand wheel track. Keeps banging every time a car goes over it and seems to be getting worse with more and more traffic hitting it.

Car illegally and dangerously on corner no tax, 15th May
Car has not moved for 8 weeks. It is dangerously parked on the corner of the road on double yellow lines, I have seen 4 near car accidents with people coming round the corner when someone is coming from the other way because of the way it’s parked. Vehicle also has not tax since July 2023!

Thorpe Road Closure, 14th May
Closure of Thorpe Road due to gas mains work by cadent was advertised from March to 15th May 2024. I understand this has been extended by another 6 weeks. As works have progressed down Thorpe Road beyond westwoodpark Road please tell me you are going to open the road up from queensgate roundabout so both lanes open up to westwoodpark road. The congestion caused by closing the road from the roundabout not only has become unbearable for local residents but also completely unsafe with vehicles illegally turning right out of midlands road or driving down the one way stretch of alderman’s drive the wrong way! The congestion caused in west town is dangerous with cars parked on both sides and buses trying to get through and school children trying to cross roads. Please bear in mind the extra stress caused to children currently studying their GCSEs exams at Peterborough high and Jack hunt. It would be far safer to open the road and navigate traffic down the larger, wider Westwood park road than just alderman’s drive. Please consider this traffic management change immediately.

A Problem with tree stump, 14th May
Tree stump in the triangle next to 35 Elmore Road- the school kids are jumping on it, which is making the stump crumble, weather making it worse. Local resident saying possible accident waiting to happen as lots of kids messing around with it.

Large pothole, 14th May
This is the second time I have felt it necessary to report this pothole. It appeared to have been 'mended' on the previous occasion, but it was such a botched job that it is worse now than it was before. The previous attempt at repair has now broken up and is over the road.
