Illegal advertising & abandoned roadsigns, 14th August
A large trailer advertising for cars wanted for purchase has recently been parked on the junction of Brington Road, Brington, Huntingdon and the B660 (adjacent to junction of the A14). It’s a huge eyesore and a distraction to motorists. No planning permission has been obtained. In addition, in the same location there are several handmade signs being displayed on road signs for ‘logs for sale’ at the nearby caravan site. Finally there are a number of discarded temporary road signs that have been left in the hedges just along Brington Road the same side as the trailer advertisement. They have been there for months. All three issues ruin the look of the countryside and our village. Photos attached of all three issues. Please could they all be removed. Many thanks Mrs Roberts

Bridleway crossing blocked by barrier on A14 eastbound on approach to J16, 10th July
There is a bridleway here that crosses the A14. There were new safety barriers installed on the nearside of the eastbound carriageway on approach to J16, however a gap in the barrier wasn’t left where the bridleway meets the road which has essentially blocked the crossing and means you cannot cross the road. The gap in the central reservation barriers is still in place, so it’s just an opening that needs to be created in the nearside barriers to fix this issue.
