Grove lane closed with out signs, warnings causing lorries to reverse up the slip road for the A14, 9th February
Flooding from the brook is causing Buffaload logistics to close Grove Lane road forcing their lorries to use a temporary bridge immediately west of the Grove Lane bridge. This means, as lorries approach from the west to turn to into Grove Lane, the drivers don't see it's closed until they are making the turn. Today there were incidents (recorded) of lorries reversing back up the slip road, and forcing cars behind them to do the same. This junction is already dangerous with turning lorries as it prevents vehicles from getting up to speed to join a national highway. Signage is non existent, the closure of Grove Lane is reckless.
