FIXMYSTREET IN PE28 0NU
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of PE28 0NU:
Totally inadequate repair, 28th April
This pothole was report number 5731388 which has been closed and marked as repaired. However, even though this pothole was repaired less than a week ago the edges of the repair were not sealed with the black tar that is usual run around such repairs. Consequently one corner is already breaking up. When it rains water fills the new hole and every passing car forces it under the tarmac and is further breaking up the repair, IN LESS THAN A WEEK. If the council is spending our tax payer money on such shoddy work which will need repairing again very soon then it is completely wasting our money!

15 inch pothole, 3 inches deep on Hargrave Road near brook street turning, 23rd March
While out delivering for my job, I hit the pothole stated above, which caused a punctured tyre and a buckled alloy. We are unsure as to how long the pothole has been there it is clear it has been there for a while due to the depth and width of the pothole.
The pothole is located on the Hargrave Road in Raunds just before the Brooks street turning.
This has caused an issue for me due to the fact my job is delivering food for a local company, and now I’ve had to use my spare tyre.

Gate is dangerous to use for horse riders, 10th March
This gate is unsafe for horse riders. To try to lift the heavy catch from the side you need to stick your horses head into a hedge (I have had to cut it back) to do it front on to the gate it is only just possible to reach from the saddle over the horse to reach the catch, this has resulted from my horse being hit on the head when the catch has slipped. This is about 100 yards from the other gate that has been reported and this one is worse. The land owner has denied all responsibilty for these gates. There are rules for gates on bridleways and neither meet them.
