FIXMYSTREET IN PE22 8LG
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of PE22 8LG:
Road alongside the hob hole drains, 10th April
You have planted trees and shrubs that have totally destroyed the road by moisture extraction. You are going to repair the road I understand but it will be a complete waste of time and money if you don’t chop the trees down which are causing the problem. In you wisdom some years ago you did plant and then remove on the road to keal cotes and the road has not deteriorated. Surely you should take notice of this

Along Thorpe Bank between Clareys Bridge and kent Bridge, 14th January
The road has a marked hump in the middle, which has been patched over the years. This patching is now cracked and dangerous to drive over. In one or two areas, if you try and avoid the hump you are thrown into some nasty potholes on the north side (ie nearest to the Drain). Impossible to pinpoint a location but the road needs looking at asap.

3 potholes, one either side of Warren Lodge and one just past Chestnut Lodge, 21st December
This is a good stretch of road but this makes the three potholes even more dangerous. There is one either side of Warren Lodge , both small but deep, one of which I hit during heavy rainfall as it could not be seen, and then another just past Chestnut Lodge going north.

There’s a large pothole on the near side of the road heading towards new Leake. I wasn’t able to take a phot as it was dark and there’s no lighting at all on this road. I didn’t have time to avoid it and it has caused damage to my tyre.

Spilsby Road and Station Road, 26th October
I have noticed signs for road closures of both Spilsby Road, and Station road, both of the same dates. Is the disruption caused to residents not considered at all in the planning process? I have to travel to Old Leake daily for work, and closing both roads simultaneously will cause significant disruption to my life!

Not the bridge (Clareys Bridge) itself but the road across it, 6th April
On the east side of the bridge the road virtually steps up a couple of centimetres. it might not look much, but when driving across it, from either direction, it feels as though you are driving up or down a step. It is probably the expansion joint between the bridge surface and the road, but it is impossible to drive across at more than 20mph without getting a huge jolt - and positively dangerous if doing 40mph.
