Potholes, 5th April
There are potholes along the riverside edge of West Fen Drainside from the 30 mph sign at Frithville to Richardson’s Bridge a total of 1.7 miles. They have become worse over the winter to such an extent that I now tend to travel down the B1183 as the total cost of damage to our cars is approx £2450 over the last 4 years all damage caused by hitting potholes according to my servicing garage. New coil springs, total 6, steering geometry repair on 3 occasions 7 new tyres across 2 vehicles. When you repair potholes you do not do all of them so some are left from my last report. The road surface is breaking up in many places, farm vehicles do immense damage due to weight and people like me pick up the bill in damage to my vehicles. Please repair these potholes before someone gets seriously hurt.

Left hand side of carriageway as you drive towards Boston, before the 40mph speed limit change., 19th March
Dangerous dip in the left hand side of the road as you drive towards Boston. I drive this road everyday and several times I have felt the car be violently pulled towards the verge. If this happened to someone not paying attention or at speed the car would be off the road before you could correct it.

Very near to Bradley’s farm entrance, 2nd March
Numerous potholes for more than a mile heading north from this point, many scattered along the route and are getting worse by the day. Becoming dangerous in places for all vehicles/cyclists having to swerve around, they will cause an accident. Requiring urgent attention from this point heading north to Shorts Corner crossroads.

Between the bridge and fishtoft drove golf course side of west fen drainside, 27th February
There are several potholes either side of the road 4-6 inches deep. Before long a car or god forbid a bicycle is going to get serious damage/injury. cars force other cars onto the verges because they are passing so fast.

New foliage obstructing view at junction., 3rd February
As trying to turn right onto Boston Road from Willows Lane the view has become more and more restricted by a bush/tree that has recently been planted there. Can no longer see oncoming traffic to the left safely.
