3ft cubed packaging blocking drainage ditch adjacent to A1., 17th April
There is a huge clear plastic wrapped package/packaging in the drainage ditch. There are two black bin bags. I noticed them today from the permissive path which runs adjacent to the A1 opposite Southoe. Due to their location. it wasn't accessible for me to move them or check the contents.

There are no trees/hedgerows planted along the A1 north between Lee's Lane and Bell Lane at Southoe Village., 2nd April
If this is not the correct forum to ask for help in having trees planted along the A1 North by our village of Southoe PE195XZ, please, will you forward it to the proper authorities or advise me? We are very happy to see that New Trees have recently been planted along the A1 North from St. Neots, Little Paxton, and other villages along the motorway between St. Neots and Buckden, Cambridgeshire. However, the area of the A1 North verge that is parallel with our small village of Southoe has had no trees planted, although areas along the A1 flanking us both to the south and north have had trees planted. Why has the section of A1 North motorway (between Lee's Lane and Bell Lane) that is parallel with our village been omitted/skipped from the tree-planting apparent on both sides of Southoe? Have we fallen through the cracks and someone responsible has overlooked that Southoe would like to also have trees helpfully planted along our section of motorway? This lack is particularly apparent from the truck layby across from the village where trucks are rumbling all night--adding to noise pollution from the motorway, which is considerable for the village and especially along Bell Lane, which runs parallel to the A1. Additionally, because this area is devoid of trees, or even a discernible hedgerow, there is a wind funnel which whips up dust, seeds, and probably insecticides from the farmer's field-- which makes up a considerable portion of the area. I appreciate any advice. Many thanks, W Cane

Dangerous junction - needs replacing with slipway, 17th January
The southbound junction onto the A1 at this point is dangerous and needs replacing with a proper slip road. There's not enough space to properly see oncoming traffic, make a decision and accelerate to join the road in anything other than very light traffic. Despite signage, many drivers are clearly confused as to whether this is a slip road or a 'give way' left turn. I see others have also reported issues at this junction this but those reports have been closed as "duplicates", referencing an original report that is now also closed. Please can you explain why you're refusing to improve this dangerous junction before inevitably closing this report, and what routes are available to appeal that decision. Or do we need to wait for somebody to be killed before any action will be taken? Thanks.

Potholes inbetween carriageway northbound, 11th July
Road breaking up between the lanes. I reported this a few days ago but need to be more specific. I live very closely to these potholes and they may not be dangerous but we have to put up with the noise of lorries crashing into the potholes and we can sometimes fell the vibrations as well. This can be very disturbing at night especially if the lorry has some loose bits to add to the general noise
