Number 85 High Street Chatteris, Empty Property. Render has detached from the above the doorway last night and is lying on the pavement. I’ve lived opposite for three years and the house has been empty as long as I have lived here

Huge over grown hedging, 8th August
This hedging on BOTH sides of the road and busy junction is illegal as well over 2 mtr and over hangs the public walk way making pedestrians move over to the road to pass Extremely difficult to drive safely as road vision is obscured Been like this for years no one bothers

I would like a Tree Preservation Order put on this mature Cypress, 1st July
I would like a Tree Preservation Order put on this mature Cypress tree. The tree is situated in the south east corner of the allotment I rent from the council, but it it is in danger of being removed or damaged, because a neighbour says it is blocking light. It was there when she bought her property in 2014 and it is not overly tall. It is to the north of her property, which is a bungalow, which is bordered on the same side by a 6' high fence. We have witnessed many birds in the tree and also bats around the area of it when we have been at the allotment, as well as squirrels. It is a healthy tree and I would like for the tree to be protected. The allotment is registered with HM King Charles' Coronation Gardens for Food and Nature scheme in conjunction with the Wildlife Trust. The tree also provides us with shade at the allotment and is very peaceful to sit beside. Please protect this tree.

Uneven breaking road surface, 11th June
Council seemed to notice the issue a while ago and painted yellow markers around the problem areas. No work commenced and now the yellow paint is starting to fade.

Nettles overhanging footpath on school route, 15th October
There are nettles overhanging the footpath on St Martin's Road, between Birch Avenue and Farrier's Gate. They're big nettle bushes, extending approximately 25%-35% of the way across an already narrow pavement. They are particularly hazardous as this is a main walking route to Glebelands Primary and The Meadows nursery.

Bike abandoned during Tuesday 24th, 25th August
It seems someone has abandoned their bike here, we have checked with neighbours and waited 24hrs incase someone needed to leave it. We thought we would let you know incase it is reported stolen. Our address is 33A New Road, Chatteris, PE16 6BJ. There is a flat above the archway and our neighbours on the other side of the archway. The archway leads to our little car park and they have left the bike in that archway. Thanks, Emma
