As councils go you have to be one of the worst. Verges cut, all the litter that was hidden shredded unto a thousands pieces and left. Your total disregard for the environment is concerning. Shoddy work paid for by tax payers. You should be ashamed and embarrassed. Litter picking should be part of verge cutting. Other councils manage it. You are a shambles.

Shredded litter, 30th April
Verges cut, not one piece of litter or debris picked up therefore your cowboy contractors have shredded it everywhere and made even more of a mess. What an absolute disgrace, such shoddy work paid for by tax payers. You have a duty under the environmental protection act to litter pick the roadsides, instead of doing this you are creating even more of a mess. Please return and get all this mess cleared up.

Litter, 6th January
There is a lot of litter scattered along the path near 90 Badgeney Road and indeed all along the path, from there along to where Badgeney Road joins Mallard Way. There are cans, bottles, cartons, paper, card and even oddments of clothing. It makes the area look dreadful. There is a lot of it at the kerbside too. The road sweeper machine does come along, but does not sweep alongside the path and the section at the side of the road where residents can park. Some of the rubbish has been there for many months. There is also a lot of mud on the path along by 140-150 Badgeney Road, where people have been driving over the verges, and this is making it dangerous for pedestrians, of which I am one.

Partial tarmac council responsible, 25th March
Cambridgeshire Highways previously notified (multiple times notified, constantly ignored even after calling). Covered with stones from adjacent property’s drive but dip and trip hazard remains. This has been an ongoing issue for more than 3 years. Cambridgeshire Highway’s seems to think that the land they are responsible for is nearest property’s problem even though if someone falls and is injured it will be a claim against them.
