Poor road surface, 11th January
The whole road surface from Guyhirn to Thorney in both direction is awful, it's a disgrace that us motorists keep reporting problems, meanwhile the lorries that ruin the road surface do nothing but damage the road. I have already had a successful claim against HE for poor maintenance of the road due to unmarked works. The A47 between Peterborough and KIng's Lynn is the only route into and out of Norfolk, it's mostly single carriageway and heavy with traffic. It is the worst road in Cambridgeshire/Norfolk. This is the main problem, i.e., it crosses multiple countries so ownership is poor. resurface the whole road between Thorney and King's Lynn. The road is 'scabby' and too congested.
