Outside Hillside, 1st February
We have lived here for nearly 2 years and not had any street lighting. It is pitch black in the evenings on our road and driveway. Disgraceful with the amount of council tax we pay, when we use no other council services apart from our bins being emptied. This has been reported before. Please can this get rectified ASAP.

Multiple reports of black ice, 15th January
Repeated reports of black ice on this bend as drop into Toft. Can anything be done to improve the gritting regime etc. There is also a spring that seems to constantly trickle water which exacerbates the surface issue in cold weather, especially given the lack of direct sun due to trees and sheltered aspect. I believe there was an accident here last week due to black ice and today reports of black ice have been made from 17:00.

Road drains are blocked in Toft, 12th January
The road drains are full of road debris and grit causing water to flow down the hill and along the main road. I have cleared the culverts further up the hill towards Bourne but the receiving ditch is also blocked. This causes a significant hazard in freezing temperatures due to the combination of ice and steep gradient.

Travelling uphill after sharp left hand bend towards Bourne, 9th January
The 6 concrete slanting drainage channels were specifically constructed to enable water to run off the A6121 roadway instead of continuing around the corner in this 'frost hollow'. There doesn't seem to be a schedule of maintenance to keep the channels clear so they are ineffective -- until they are cleared of the mud and weeds blocking the entrances off the road. As we have barely had a frost yet, this overlooked task should be given priority.
