Another pothole you've marked as 'Fixed' which isn't fixed at all!, 16th May
Why do OCC keep marking things as fixed without even investigating them? This is yet another example. Is it so your figures for road repairs can be inflated and look good on your reports? I reported these potholes on 14/03/2024 (ENQ24997043) and several other people commented, citing damage to vehicles and provided photographic evidence. On 1st May 2024, OCC marked the repairs as 'Fixed'.
I would like to know why these reports are not being investigated / actioned. Please explain?
On the public highway slip road which allows traffic to access Jaybee Motors garage and the Esso forecourt there are a couple of very large / deep potholes which are difficult to avoid when turning.

Pothole not fixed, 15th May
I got an email to say this hole was actioned to be fixed which the photo confirms.
But then I got an email to say it has been fixed.
Doesn't look like any work has been carried out. If a vehicle falls into the hole whilst traversing the speed hump they may ground out as evidenced by the scrape marks in the painted arrow

Sunken grate outside Savers, 15th May
I am a community warden and attended an elderly lady who had fallen and injured herself yesterday afternoon (14/05/2024). She was taken away by ambulance. It was reported to me by a member of the public who had seen her fall that she had tripped on the bit of pavement where the grate has dropped.
I would also add that the entire paving along the high street and also the pavement along the top of the High Street by the Exchange is a trip hazard for anyone, but especially for elderly and disabled people.

Deepening hole in the footpath, 14th May
Deepening hole in the footpath. Outside 10 Calthorpe Road. Path used regularly by people of all ages including elderly. Someone will trip and fall because of these holes. The bit between the holes is too high and lumpy. It has been reported in the past and is being ‘watched’ but no one is watching it because it’s getting worse.
