The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of OX16 9NS:

Traffic sign STILL obscured on both sides., 15th May

Wed, 15 May 2024 20:07:01 +0100
52.049948 -1.374932

Traffic sign on both sides is obscured by foliage. This was "allegedly" fixed earlier this week as per screenshot, but as you can see, someone is not telling the truth! This is the 2nd to 3rd time a problem has been "fixed" when in fact its not been touched at all. Someone is signing these problems off without seeing them??

Pothole not fixed, 15th May

I got an email to say this hole was actioned to be fixed which the photo confirms. But then I got an email to say it has been fixed. Doesn't look like any work has been carried out. If a vehicle falls into the hole whilst traversing the speed hump they may ground out as evidenced by the scrape marks in the painted arrow

Sunken grate outside Savers, 15th May

Wed, 15 May 2024 08:42:22 +0100
52.061361 -1.336451

I am a community warden and attended an elderly lady who had fallen and injured herself yesterday afternoon (14/05/2024). She was taken away by ambulance. It was reported to me by a member of the public who had seen her fall that she had tripped on the bit of pavement where the grate has dropped. I would also add that the entire paving along the high street and also the pavement along the top of the High Street by the Exchange is a trip hazard for anyone, but especially for elderly and disabled people.

52.056571 -1.338383

Deepening hole in the footpath. Outside 10 Calthorpe Road. Path used regularly by people of all ages including elderly. Someone will trip and fall because of these holes. The bit between the holes is too high and lumpy. It has been reported in the past and is being ‘watched’ but no one is watching it because it’s getting worse.

Across from 12 Mold Road is water coming out of the bank. This has been reported to Thames Water who have written back to say it’s not the watermain and there’s no chlorine in the water. Can Oxfordshire County Council urgently investigate the cause of the water and necessary Springwater into some kind of diversion . This is problematic when we come to autumn Winter and causes a health and safety risk
