Blocked drain, 29th April
The drain is completely blocked and rain water floods across the road with just the slightest downfall creating a very dangerous corner as cars cannot drive through it so drive on the other side of the road on a blind corner.

Exceptional and unusually long queue to cross the bridge going North bound with no obvious reason at the bridge, only 2 cars waiting at the lights on the other side. Length of queue back through entirety of Long Wittenham. Can only conclude there is some problem with the lights?

Large pot hole at least 50cm in depth, 15th April
Large pothole in road at least 50cm deep but unsure as not safe to get out of car or stop. Currently has a cone in it. Several smaller pot holes along the High street in Long Wittenham when travelling back into the village which are getting worse

Lights out of sync, 20th March
The traffic was queueing from Culham this morning! Lights letting 2 or 3 cars through at a time. Took me half an hour to get through FROM Culham! Ridiculous! The main road traffic should have priority on time yet the side streets had quadruple the amount of passing time, so the traffic queue was all the way almost to Abingdon. Sort it out, it shouldn’t take half an hour to get from Culham to this point!

There are numerous potholes in Barton lane which are now very wide and deep. They run from the end of the science park to the housing at the end of the track.

Blocked surface drain B4105 flooded properties twice in 6 weeks, 19th February
Blocked surface drain under verge is causing water to back up in the culvert in the farmland to the north. The overflowing culvert has flooded the ground floor of 5 properties on 4th January 2024 and again on 18th February 2024. 3 families with children have moved to rented accommodation for 6 months for repairs. During flooding the adjacent land owner lifted manhole covers on the West verge of the B4015, outside Studio Barn, and it appears that there was no water draining through despite the culvert being full to overflowing in the field bordering, suggesting significant blockage in this section of the drain.

Flooding on the A415, 9th February
One side of the road is flooded and has got worse in the last 2 hours. You have to go on to the wrong side of the road (if you are travelling from Clifton Hampden towards Burcot/Dorchester) to avoid the deepening water and this involves going on to the wrong side of the road just before a blind bend. It was bad on my way to Abingdon earlier but, on the way home, the water is deeper and further across the road.

Cluster of potholes, 7th February
There is a large area of potholes on this road. There must be at least 10+. It is at the traffic lights at the entrance of the bridge heading towards the Barley Mow pub from Clifton Hampden. You cannot avoid them when driving over the bridge as they are very large and all over the road.
