Presumably a blocked drain or something as this was the state of the road the day after rain. Road flooded right across on a blind corner. Flood water extends right around the corner to Fieldside.

The whole road is covered in potholes and is unsafe, deep pot holes and I tripped and have sprained my ankle in this pothole

Exceptional and Unusually long queue, ~2km, 22nd April
Exceptional and unusually long queue to cross the bridge going North bound with no obvious reason at the bridge, only 2 cars waiting at the lights on the other side. Length of queue back through entirety of Long Wittenham. Can only conclude there is some problem with the lights?

Pothole near the end of Lodden avenue, 16th April
This pothole has been here for at least 1 month and due to the parking in the road is nearly impossible to miss during entering and exiting the road, this will in turn cause damage to vehicles both those hitting the pothole and those trying to avoid it.

Large pot hole at least 50cm in depth, 15th April
Large pothole in road at least 50cm deep but unsure as not safe to get out of car or stop. Currently has a cone in it. Several smaller pot holes along the High street in Long Wittenham when travelling back into the village which are getting worse

Massive potholes, large, over 70cm wide and several inches deep., 13th April
There are several large pot holes all over High Street, from just past the bridge at Clifton Hampden, and increasing dramatically in size just before you enter Long Wittenham. Had it been dark, I would have undoubtedly caused serious damage to my car - heaven knows what would happen to a cyclist! The pot holes just before Long Wittenham are almost impossible to avoid since there are so many and across the road. They are over 70cms or so wide and several inches deep. The side of the road is completely washed away in parts. Please fix as a priority - it needs to be dug up and completely redone!

Caused a crash, 13th April
The pot hole that is on this road has been there for a while and has cause me to crash my motorcycle. Throwing my handle bars into a wobble and shattering my right wrist. Is isn’t a danger to cars as much but it is a massive problem for motorcycles

Road closed for cyclists!, 11th April
If this road has been inspected there don't appear to be any markings to show that the potholes are going to be fixed. This road should be marked as closed to cyclists until it is fit for them to use again. The Council is likely to be sued if someone is injured as they have been warned about the state of this road numerous times already.

Pothole, 11th April
If first reported at 14:38, 29 Mar 2024, last updated 09:32, 3 Apr 2024 why has it not been fixed yet? I was travelling towards Abingdon this morning and a car coming the opposite way was overtaking a cyclist at this point. The cyclist saw the pothole at the last minute swerved out to miss the pothole forcing the car to swerve towards my car. Regardless of who's fault it was the issue would not have happened if the pothole had been filled. Lets keep our roads safe for cyclists.
