Overgrown cherry tree outside our boundary, 11th May
This cherry tree is getting far too big for the small area it’s on, delivery vehicles and waste bin Lorry’s constantly break the branches as they reverse up the road. The roots have started lifting up the manhole cover outside my boundary wall. Please could someone come and investigate with cutting back some of the overhanging branches which are now almost touching my property The tree was put in by the council a number of years ago but has never been maintained by the council.

Footpath covered by overgrown hedges, 9th May
The path is already reduced by mud and no defined edges but now hedge growing over path. Understand hard to keep cut back at this time of year but with reduced mobility I'm finding it difficult to use path towards Dunmore Rd and bus stop. Only way to walk along here is on the mud.

Overgrown tree, 9th May
First reported in 2021. Still not been cut back. Now roots are taking up our drive. Next month, our drive will be covered in SAP so badly that last year the postman's feet stuck to our drive. Have to hose it down everyother day. Something needs to be done. Trees outside our property Reported via desktop in the Grass category anonymously at 16:45, Fri 27 May 2022 using FixMyStreet Pro

Persistent leak in Oxford Road A4183, Abingdon, 7th May
Persistent leak in Oxford Road A4183, Abingdon
Water has been leaking up through the road for the last six years and the cause has been identified but no effective action taken.
British Telecom were working on both sides of the road recently and had had to pump out the chamber by the South Avenue bus stop (northbound). I explained that in times of heavy rainfall the water comes up through the BT manhole covers and they said that the ducts that carry the cables also act as the drainage system for the service. They suggested that the BT ducts are blocked, as had happened below the chamber they had had to pump out. The duct need clearing of the blockage.
It is pointless patching the road, all this does is cause the water to come up through the next section of tarmac as can be seen in the accompanying photographs. Unless the problem is properly cured there is little point in tar and chipping the road service to waterproof it as the water will still come up under the surface coating.
This problem and its cause has been reported many times.

Footpath blocked by overgrown hedge / vegetation, 7th May
Travelling down Sandford Lane towards the Lock just before the Railway Bridge the pavement widens out and the left part of the paved path leads into a tunnel of vegetation which forms part of said pavement. Unfortunately, while the tunnel is visible to the eye it is impassable owing to the uncontrolled encroachment of vegetation which requires substantial cutting back.
